McKee's 37 Car Care was developed by Bob McKee and Nick Rutter, who combined have over 40 years' experience in the car care industry. After selling Autogeek.com and its assets to the Hulman-George family in 2016, Bob and Nick continued development of the then-new McKee's 37 brand. What was supposed to be a fun project of Bob and Nick's quickly exploded into a full-fledged operation, with distribution of McKee's 37 products all over the country and later, parts of Europe. In 2017 Wayne Carini, host of Chasing Classic Cars, became a partner in the company as well.
